Sony Reduces Price Of PlayStation 3 To $249

Sony has revealed it will drop the price of its PlayStation 3 console. The cut applies to both the 160 GB and 320 GB models, which will now sell for $249 and $299 respectively. A handful of bundles featuring the PlayStation Move and Activision first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops are also available.

Sony has said that the PlayStation Vita will launch globally at the end of this year, and further indicated that it will arrive this fall, but still hasn’t gotten any more specific.
