SonyInsider yet again leaks basic specs and features of Sony’s Google TV. Though it will be officially launched this October 12, still the specs revealed confirm the following features:
- Intel processor
- Capability to fully surf the web including flash sites
- There will be a 24-inch NSX-24GT1, 32-inch NSX-32GT1, 40-inch NSX-40GT1 and 46-inch NSX-46GT1 models
- Access and search video services
- Direct integration with select service providers
Pricing:
You need to spend $1299.99 for the 32 inch (NSX-32GT1), $1499.99 for 40 inch (NSX-40GT1) and $1899.99 for 46 inch (NSX-46GT1). Unfortunately, pricing info is unavailable for 24GT1 model now.
Other Leaks:
- During a Best Buy tech peep, it was revealed that the 46-inch GT1 set will have an edge-lit LED display and use a USB adapter for Wi-Fi access when an Ethernet cable isn’t an option.
- Also leaked via an internal Sony site was the company’s NSZ-GT1 ‘Internet TV Box’, a stand-alone option for those without Sony TVs or the want to limit Google TV to a single screen. Few details are available, but the slip mentions an eject button for a likely Blu-ray player, a Wi-Fi module and a bundled HDMI cable.
