Ricoh launches a new camera- G700, which is though not that special, but is a simple camera to hang around with. The main thing, however, is the ruggedness: survives 5m underwater, 2m drop, dust and chemical sealed.
It’s other basic features include:
- 12 megapixels CCD image sensor
- 5x optical zoom
- ISO 64-3200
- 720p video recording
- 3.0 inches of LCD display
- 103 MB of internal memory
- USB 2.0
- SD, SDHC card slot
- Up to 5m waterproof/ Shockproof/Dustproof
- DW-5 wide angle
You can use the regular rechargeable battery pack, but you can switch to AAAs if you find yourself away from an outlet. It will soon arrive US, no dates made official yet.
