After the Desire HD and Desire Z, now a third handset has been spotted from the house of HTC- Merge. But is it a handset? Well, interestingly, rumors are suggesting it to be a merger of both-handset and a tablet, as merge means.

HTC Merge was spotted first on the Global Certification Forum (GCF) website, and handset passed through the GCF with support for quad band GSM / GPRS / EDGE and single band UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA at 2100 MHz frequencies on board.

The handset sports Google’s Android operating system on board, a 10MP camera and faster-than-1GHz processor, according to sources. Besides, it will be probably coming with Verizon.

Though we can’t comment on the merging part at present, still one thing is confirmed that there are great chances that Merge would become a world phone, especially since Verizon is a CDMA carrier.
