Are you looking for an iPhone app to prove you are super rich and desperate to spend some easy earned money? Then see what developer Idev Soft has just released for you at $40, one of the strangest examples of spending hard earned money. They have released an iPhone app, called Nirvana The Complete Biography, priced at $40.
But the strangest part is yet to come…the app claims to be “A brief, yet throughout introduction about Nirvana – the legendary rock band of US”. It costs £23.99 on the UK App Store….ahh fine. But wait untill you see the next line in its product description:
“All of the contents are based on wikipedia.” While admirably honest, we’d be surprised if the app attracts anyone willing to pay just under 40 dollars for a bunch of text cut’n'pasted from a website that’s freely accessible from iPhone’s Safari browser. I guess, even if it was available for free, I would have not grabbed this app, so paying for something like this is impossible.
