Thanks to Filear.com, we got a cool trick for all the Toyota car owners this week. Now you can re-program one key fob to unlock all your cars. All you need to do is to follow the instructions below: (This process is only for Toyota users)
- Ensure the car doors are unlocked and open
- Now insert and remove the key from the ignition two times within five seconds (This step is required to reprogram the car’s computer)
- Simultaneously, close, open the driver’s door twice within 40 seconds
- Insert the key into the ignition again but remember not to turn the key yet
- Cycle the key from lock to on
- Cycle this step one time for the “add” mode
- Now you can remove the key from the ignition, but immediately grab the transmitter to complete the program
- Press both the lock and unlock buttons on your transmitter simultaneously for 1 to 1 1/2 seconds
- Release the transmitter buttons afterwards
- Press the lock button within three seconds of releasing on the last step
- The door locks will cycle from lock to unlock if the process is done correctly
- Now open the driver’s door and this will mark the end to your process.
Note: Be sure you have all of your remotes handy, the process will clear the vehicle of any paired remotes and you will need to reprogram all remotes. Usually vehicles will accept up to four remotes.
