According to Engadget, Sony has just announced a “classic white” PS3 Slim. I guess it comes just after the 250GB slim Xbox 360 update. But presently the offer goes live only for Japan. According to reports, PS3’s model CECH-2500 is coming this July 29th with 160GB HDD update.
Finally the mystery behind the PlayStation 3’s Upcoming is solved I guess. But I am waiting this to strike soon for U.S gamers too. As it’s fresh news, we don’t have much enough details at the moment. But what is known is Sony has announced, as opposed to the “ceramic white” original, this model for Japan, at 34,980 yen, translated about $400 to US currency.
So start off with 320GB of storage in your charcoal black model, while the aforesaid 160GB still retails for 29,980 yen ($342). Let me update you again that the new “classic white” model is only available with a 160GB HDD. So do we have more to solve on PS3′s FCC-bound CECH-2501 models or its over?
