The iPad has been often called as an oversized iPhone or a bigger iPod. But do you agree with that? So lets compare iPhone with iPad and see how many differences can we spot.
- Memory:
The iPhone 3GS is available with either a 16GB or 32 GB flash drive. The iPad offers both of those configurations, in addition to a 64GB version (for $699, Wi-Fi only, or for $829, Wi-Fi and 3G). So the tablet is better.
- Screen:
The iPad boasts a higher screen resolution than the iPhone that is 1,024×768 pixel resolution compared to the iPhone’s 480×320.
- Exclusive-Apps:
Apple has created 1,000 exclusive apps for the iPad platform, although iPhone market has much more options, yet not the special apps which iPad users have, for example the Netflix App for iPad.
The iPad is available in Wi-Fi-only as well as Wi-Fi+3G models. If you opt for the latter, you’re locked in to using AT&T’s cellular network to get online, but the bright side is there’s no contract. The iPad offers Internet service via AT&T’s 3G network on a pay-as-you-go basis.
- Fast and Speedy:
The real fast 1GHz A4 chip in the iPad is much faster than those found in cheaper netbooks. It’s also speculated to be similar to the iPhone’s Cortex-A8 processor, only the iPad’s A4 is believed to be faster.
- iBooks:
iBooks, which allow users to buy, download, and read eBooks, will be available exclusively on the iPad. All I can say is sorry iPhone.
Well I guess this short comparison is pretty enough for you to decide which is a better one. If you have something to share, then please do write to us.
