What if I offer you to play on Kinect right away, without waiting for the official launch? Excited….hold your breath and read beyond! Microsoft is now offering Demo units of Kinect in its four Microsoft Stores across the western United States. To be sad, Microsoft stores are only in four locations, though. But if a store is located near you, think yourself lucky!
The official Microsoft Store Twitter account tweeted- “Can’t wait to play Kinect? Try it at MicrosoftStores nationwide!” Well I guess the word national wide is a bit wrongly used as they just have only four stores. The tweet also teases, “No store in your area? You can pre-order online!” It’s a bit of an odd sentiment since Microsoft’s online store has distanced itself from the listed price, calling it a placeholder. So you could pre-order online, because chances are the price isn’t getting any higher or you could just wait and see what the final price turns out to be.
But if you certainly happen to live around Scottsdale, Arizona, Mission Viejo, California, San Diego, California, or Lone Tree, Colorado, you could conceivably go try out Kinect today. Rumours suggest they’ll be showing off Kinectimals this weekend. If you turn around, then do share your experience with us!
