Apple finally released a predictable update to the Mac Mini, which starts at $699 and is more adapted for home theatre uses than the previous generation model by including an HDMI port. Apple has re-designed the enclosed space, as well as added ports that are better suitable for connecting to televisions. It also sports an aluminum unibody design.
Key Highlights:
- There is a single slot-loading optical drive on the front of the system, and Apple has reconfigured the back to include a HDMI port and an SD card slot.
- Mac mini is even more environmentally friendly. When idle, it uses less than 10 watts, something no other desktop can do.
- With its sleek aluminum design, a removable bottom panel for easy access to memory, and a space-saving built-in power supply, Mac mini is pretty implausible.
