Evo Suffers Glass Separation Issues And Possible Light Leakage Problems

HTC EVO 300x196 Evo Suffers Glass Separation Issues And Possible Light Leakage Problems

Do you own a HTC Evo? Then do keep a screwdriver handy, you might need it to hold the screen glass in place! Yes, after HTC Droid Incredible, now its turn for the Evo as this handset reports two minor problems. Reports suggest that the device is suffering from glass separation issues and possible light leakage.

Engadget reports that they have received a collection of complaints from users, that the glass on their HTC EVO screen is starting to loosen up from its mount on the device. Sounds pretty bad but this can’t be a wide spread problem for sure. Engadget also add that the problem is also leading to ‘excessive light leakage’, which is considered to get worse the more times users press their screen when cleaning.

The same information also came from Radio Shack who also sell the EVO 4G. The employee did agree that Sprint are replacing the handsets although due to 80% seeing the problem it isn’t known how long it will take to replace the device. But its pretty sad how other websites are saying that EVO would not run for a long time in the market. Other than the High Speed browsing this handset has nothing extra ordinary. Sprint is a bit worried with this news. On the other hand the 3G network is working quite well in places. And 4G is still not available in the country side

The 4G handset has several flaws such as the battery life of it is not that good to attract the people. If compared to other smart phones available in market the battery stands no where. It has to be charged two times in a single day which is not considered a positive thing. Also the HTC sense which has been used in the handset does not give it a total control on the gadget. According to a tech website, the handset has some kind of bug in it which forces the user to reboot the handset in order to perform a task.

We have heard nothing from HTC yet regarding the matter, but we’re sure we will if the problem becomes more widespread. However if you own a Evo, please do write telling us that are you also facing some kind of similar problems?
