The Motorola Devour is an Android powered smartphone with a touch screen and a slide out comfortable keys-keyboard. Motoblur features a home screen which in a small area, known as Universal Inbox, shows you your last status on Facebook, MySpace or Twitter in addition to any status updates from friends and any email or text messages received. Not just this, you can even wish for more. Motorola allows you to create a Motoblur account. This account allows your phone’s data to be backed up by Motorola in a secure location. So, if you ever lose your phone you can simply login to another Motoblur phone with the same account and all of your information comes right back. Speaking of losing your phone, Motoblur is a free website which gives you the convenience of using the GPS on your phone to locate it if it’s lost and if it’s nowhere to be found you can even remotely wipe it of data. Another added convenience with My Motoblur is the ability to upload contacts through the website and have those contacts transferred to your phone wirelessly. It comes with Android 1.6 while the Motorola Droid features Android 2.0. However, Google Maps with Navigation is included on the Devour along with a reasonable 3MP camera.

In terms of look, its pretty dazzling and stunning, thanks to the aluminium body with a scratchless touch-screen. The WiFi connectivity, GPS and Bluetooth makes the battery life a little upsetting but its obvious. Still the standby time is up to 443 hours and a usage time of 389 minutes. Other minor features include good standard speakers with a 8GB memory card. In the U.S, the Motorola Devour comes with the Verizon Wireless network at $149 with a $100 mail-in rebate in association with a 2-year contract.
