Its always have been difficult for recorders to capture live events, sports or activities with actions and moves precisely on camcorders. We often miss on certain main angels. So now we have answers to our problem. Drift Innovation’s X170 “Sports Camera”, or “Action Camera”, is a great looking, lightweight camcorder with a lot of very intelligent and smart features.

Now you can even record yourself being adventurous, like record your bouncing down the mountainside on your bicycle or one of your trekking experiences. This X170 sports cam is the perfect way to film every single one of your action moves. Its a solid-state camcorder that records straight to SD (a half-hour will eat 1GB) and has a tiny 1.5-inch screen for playback (or more usefully, a quick check to see you got the shot). Video is shot through a wide-angle lens with a 170-degree field-of-view, and is recorded in 720 x 480 pixels at 30fps. Stills can be grabbed at 5 megapixels. The camera comes boxed with a huge array of mounts: A helmet-grip, head-strap, goggle and handlebar mounts and a plain ol’ Velcro fastener for anything else. It also comes with an RF remote control with a five meter range. But the only demerit is its battery life that is only capable of 1 hour recording. They use the regular AAs batteries to operate. You can own one at just $200.

The official website states it to be one of the best all-round helmet cameras for filming any extreme sport that we have come across. A blog posted quoted, “Designed to take high quality point-of-view photos and videos of all action sports such as skiing, mountain biking, motorbiking and any other extreme sport that you can think of. The Drift Innovation catch phrase sums it all up; “Capture and Relive all of your Action Sports!”

Good camera and easy to mount on your helmet. I have tried similar sports cameras and I can assure this one is the best

This is how we are going to get into the future.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

The iPhone 3G added 3G cellular network capabilities and A-GPS location. The iPhone 3GS added a compass, faster processor, and higher resolution camera, including video recording at 480p. The iPhone 4 has a rear facing camera (720p video) and a front facing camera (at a lower resolution)
