The telecom giant BT is reported to have launched a new offer of giving away three months of free calls, broadband and TV on the bundle deals. The offer is only available online at a rental cost of £11.54 per month. The customers are required to choose from “Talk and Surf Plus”, “Talk and Surf Unlimited”, “Talk, Surf and Watch Plus” or the “Talk, Surf and Watch Unlimited” bundles on its website- www.bt.com.
The scheme can help one save upto £147, if one opts for the most expensive bundle- Talk, Surf & Watch Unlimited. This package will include unlimited anytime phone calls, broadband speeds up to 20Mbps and the full BT Vision digital TV service with 6 viewing packs. But a user needs to pay £49 per month after that, plus the line rental, with 15 months left to run on the contract. Instead the customers who opt now for selected BT broadband bundles will have to pay nothing for their services for the first three months of their contract. With prices for BT Broadband only deals now starting from £15.99 a month, its valuable for a customer to take a BT package, with BT Talk & Surf costing £14.49 a month after the 3 months introductory price of £7.49 per month. Then again, customers can opt for the BT Talk & Surf Plus package and get their first 3 months free, followed by £15.99 a month after. A £124.99 charge usually applies for those new customers needing a BT line installed or reconnected, however, BT is reducing this to £50 when a Calls & Broadband package is ordered online. This charge is reduced to £0 when a BT Calls, Broadband & TV package is ordered online.
Alex Buttle, Marketing Director at Top 10 Broadband, quoted, “Conditions in the economy and labor market have improved somewhat in recent months, but it’s still tough out there for the majority of people. And that makes BT’s latest promotion a gimme for anyone who’s looking to cut their outlay”.
