FEAR 3: Paxton Fettel Single Player Or Co-Op Modes

Warner Bros. Interactive is all set to release a third chapter in the creepy first-person shooter series F.E.A.R. for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. Acclaimed film director John Carpenter will be working on the newly-announced F.E.A.R. 3 and that Monolith, the studio behind the first two games, won’t. The follow up to F.E.A.R. 2 will take the F.E.A.R. permit to the next level, promising intense warfare and a convincing narrative. Rumours also state that and horror comic strip writer, Steve Niles of “30 Days of Night”, will also be engaged in the game’s development.

Character Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3, and one can play as her sons Point Man or Paxton Fettel in single player or co-op modes. Point Man is a genetically enhanced soldier from the original F.E.A.R., while Paxton Fettel has clairvoyant powers giving him life after death. Martin Tremblay, President of WBIE, said, “Monolith Productions has passed the torch to Day 1 Studios to create a quality, powerful game that stays true to the roots of the Fear franchise but takes players to a heightened level of game-play”. New play enhancements in F.E.A.R. 3 include divergent co-op, an evolved cover system, and more scares.

The game retrieves after months of the blast caused by Alma’s escape, her supernatural anguish continues to punish the city, while Armacham’s disreputable security forces and the remains of the F.E.A.R. team single mindedly chase their missions. Caught between his mysteriously devoted brother, his twisted, powerful mother and his F.E.A.R. teammates who are set on killing them both, the Point Man must decide once and for all where his loyalties lie. So get ready again to feel the fear.
