Microsoft has unveiled that February, 2010 has been most productive year for Xbox 360 so far. As far as 400k+ units were sold in the month leading to whooping revenue of $170 million. It topped charts of the major journals for the month.
Nintendo DS and Xbox 360 are ruling the video game arena at the moment. Nintendo edged past Xbox 360 for the month of February. Nintendo was able to sell 600k+ units for the month. With booming market for video games, Xbox is all set to gain from Microsoft’s ability to reach global audience more quickly and effectively.
Arcade and other blockbuster games have added to such an exponential growth in the sales numbers of Xbox 360 of late. More innovation and newer games are expected to be released for Xbox 360 platform in order to sustain the race.
Xbox 360 is expected to make foray in international markets more fiercely in order to grow its demand and overall market dynamics in the near term. Newer Xbox release is also expected to hit the markets this June or August. Video game players should anticipate better features and real time gaming incorporated into the newer version.
