The so called best in class communication device, iPad is not as fully loaded as boasted by international media. Some of the most aspired features are missing in iPad and it might bring down the overall usability experience.

Some of top reasons for not buying an iPad are as follows:

iPad does not support flash. Flash games, websites with flash content cannot be accessed on the iPad.
Features of multi-tasking are absent in iPad. Multiple applications cannot be worked with at the same. For example, users can’t browse through twitter and go back and access Facebook account in another tab. iPad only believes in one thing at a time.
Camera is not available in any of the iPad models. It is a much needed feature of modern communication device. As per Apple’s CEO,, Steve Jobs an electronic slate such as iPad should not gel well with a camera. Taking pictures with an electronic slate id not viable on iPad.
Apple has always believed in a close environment approach. Only apps approved and available on Apple’s website can be installed on the iPad. Third party applications are not supported. Same holds true for the external accessories like keypad, monitor and other networking devices.
Price tag looks a bit expensive at $499 for the Wi-Fi only version. Competitors are already focusing on much more competitive strategies for rolling out their products.
