Sony will launch the slim PS3 systems with 250 GB Hard drives coming November 3rd. But if you are worried that stores will be picked clean before the holidays, they can preorder it online.
Sony recently noted that they had sold over 1 million PS3 units since September 1st, when the Slim was launched and all other models saw a $100 price cut.
Industry analysts have predicted the moves by Sony will propel the PS3 to the top of hardware sales for the month of September. Official sales figures will be released Monday by market research firm NPD Group.
This unit is the same size and shape as the 120GB PlayStation 3 Slim, it just has slightly over double the hard drive space. interestingly, the system seems to be priced a tad lower than its UK counterparts at $349.99.
