
We have experienced it first from Lenovo’s ThinkPad W700DS, A Laptop with a small secondary screen that gives users place to drop frequently used toolbars. The gScreen’s SpaceBook boast two full sized screens, that will let users to multi-task while on the move.
gScreen is an Alaska based technology firm which has pioneered the technology that will give users two 15.4 inch screens to multitask. Dubbed as Spacebook, gScreen founder Gordon Stewart, expects the first Spacebooks to become available on Amazon in time for the holiday shopping season in December.
The Spacebook design is functional works much like the sliding doors you’ll find on a closet so you’ll always have an extra screen, but you don’t have to use it if you’re just checking your email. The company is targeting the Spacebook at designers, filmmakers and photographers who are used to double-screen desktop setups.
gScreen’s Spacebook features include :
- Dual 15.4 inch display
- Intel Core 2 duo processors
- NIVIDIA GeForce 900M GT graphics
- 4GB RAM
- DVD player
- 7200rpm hard drive and a 6 or 9-cell battery
Weighing around 12 pounds Spacebook is expected to cost $3000 and will hit the market in December.
