Casio Exilim EX Z450 And EX Z90: Features Background Scene Editing Tool
digital cameras | nawed | August 18, 2009 at 1:45 pmCasio announced two latest entry level Exilim cameras EX-Z450 and EX-Z90 with a new Intelligent Auto Focus that purportedly goes beyond face detection, automatically selecting the proper focus and exposure settings for subjects in the frame.
Casio claims that their new Intelligent Auto Focus feature can detect pet faces and “even a non-human photographic subject”. Casio’s two 12-megapixel EXILIM cameras will capture high-definition video at a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels at 24 frames per second.
Dynamic Photo System
Casio Exilim EX-Z450 and EX-Z90 both will support a new technology called Dynamic Photo System. The Dynamic Photo System showcased at CES in early 2009 allow users to extract a moving object from a photo (as long as they are shot against a plain background) and paste it into another photo. This extracted object (such as a small child or pet ) can then be pasted onto another image, so you could create a family portrait even of one of the subjects refuses to stay still. The cropped object can also be resized and moved before pasting, and you can also create a movie of the object zipping across the frame.

EX-Z450 features includes:
- 28mm wide-angle lens
- 12.1 megapixel
- a 3-inch LCD
- 4x optical zoom
- mechanical image stabilization

EX-Z90 comes with features like:
- 3x optical zoom
- 12.1 megapixel
- smaller 2.7-inch display
- image stabilization
As EX-Z90 is the cheaper version therefore it has no Wide angle lens support but comes for only $150 as compared to the high end EX-Z450 which will cost $200.
