The S-series unlike the Walkman X, an OLED touch screen answer to the iPod Touch, will have no touch screen and no WiFi. In short Sony has learned the lesson the hard way.
Two versions are available: The Walkman NWZ-S544 and the Walkman NWZ-S545 have been leaked by materiel.net, a French online retail site. Both models have very similar features, with the main difference being storage details: 8GB and 16GB. They are priced at 129 and 149 Euros.

Some other attributes include drag and drop ability with iTunes and Windows Media Player compatibility. With no mention of digital amplifier, clear bass and not very hot looking earphones it seems Sony is just trying to offer a competitively priced music/video player with good functionality.
