
The historic event of Apollo 11 on July 20, 1960 was viewed on TV by an estimated 500 million people worldwide. Now after 40 years Google is paying its tribute to the historic event by launching Google Moon though the company has not yet confirmed this report.
Google announced plans on Thursday to hold a press conference on July 20 in Washington, D.C., to discuss “a very special announcement about the newest addition to Google Earth,” according to an invitation sent to reporters.
Currently, there are four different types of data on Google Moon that is provided by NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey, Universities Space Research Association, and The Lunar and Planetary Institute.
One of the men invited by Google for the July 20th press conference is Buzz Aldrin, one of the men who set foot on the moon that day. qifrw2hjcv
