Designers who are famous for designing  G1 phone have unveiled their latest revolutionary car design which will not only change the way we drive but will also never let us drive. The designer pair Mike and Maaike have come up with a new car design where the boring driving job will be handled by the car itself letting you do more important stuffs like sending SMS messages to your loved ones.
In their blog post on the project, the pair is clearly not happy with the auto industry as it stands today: “Today’s car industry is brainwashed by its own car culture, with its obsession for speed, styling and fantasy.”
The Autonomobile, or ATNMBL, is a vehicle with panoramic windows where speed is not important but emphasis is given to the journey, driving to your destination automatically while you sit on the wrap-around sofa passenger seat and take in the view or interact with the entertainment system. It’s powered by solar panels on the roof and has no way of the user controlling it. The firm calls speed and acceleration “irrelevant considerations,” but the vehicle will have different settings, such as “I’m in a hurry” and “Take the scenic route.”
Mike and Maaike don’t predict seeing the atnmbl until 2040, which gives you time to enjoy some quality time driving your car at your desired speed.
