The latest Call of Juarez comes with its proprietary graphic engine which brings out amazing visual effects and will give players feel of authentic wild west. Players will love to handle weapons like shotguns, rifles, dynamite and pistols from the era of American Civil War.
Call of Juarez starts in Atlanta and gives the look of pure Western, little shantytowns of wooden saloons and stagecoaches. In the game is a story of three brothers: Thomas and Ray McCall who desert the Confederate army to protect their family homestead, as their trainee preacher brother, William, narrates their slow decent into darkness. Upon discovering their home in ruins, and their mother murdered by Union forces, the McCall’s embark on a self destructive lifestyle as outlaws, killing all that oppose them before their recklessness forces them to travel south, and seek their fortune working for a Mexican criminal kingpin named Juarez.
The gunfights are integrated into the story really well and you always feel like you’re doing something, rather than just wasting bullets on nameless foes. Player can choose the character of either Ray or Thomas in the game, Ray is stronger while Thomas has more agility. The story line is realistic and gritty, and the brothers are entertaining as they throw profane barbs back and forth during their adventure.
The game is full of dusty scenes fraught with danger. You’ll meet some friends along the way, who seem to be on your side, but this is the late 1800s, and your best friend is likely to be your six-shooter. Top-notch stuff here from Ubisoft. “Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood” is a very polished title.
