The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is an attractive netbook packed with 12-inch LED backlit screen, a full-size keyboard and respectable resolution of 1280 by 800. The main attaraction of IdeaPad S12 is discrete graphics from the Nvidia Ion processor. The Ion Netbooks supports full HD video output and handle some gaming also.
IdeaPad S12 main emphasis is on e-mail, Web surfing and media, and comes with surround-sound audio from Dolby Headphone technology, a 4-in-1 multicard reader, VGA or HDMI ports for watching video on an external monitor, 160GB of storage and 1GB of memory.
The new IdeaPad S12 features a full-size keyboard, six hours of battery life, Wi-Fi connectivity and an ExpressCard slot for accessing 3G networks. The Ion claims a 10x performance boost on existing Netbook integrated graphics with identical power consumption.
